How Negative Thoughts Leads to unhappiness

If you don't believe in the power of your subconscious mind you're really kidding yourself. The subconscious mind is like a juggler that runs around and gets things done for you that you would never dream of doing on your own. All it takes is for you to not pay attention to what your mind is telling you. If you can focus on what your mind is doing, on what's bothering you, or what you fear most, you'll begin to experience positive changes in all areas of your life.


One of the reasons why negative thoughts lead to unhappiness is that you have no power over them. When something bad happens to you it is out of your control. The negative feelings you experience are there because the negative thought patterns you've formed in your mind are unfavorable. You can change the way you think, but only if you're willing to take an honest look at yourself.

Here's a good way to see how your negative thoughts lead to unhappiness. Imagine that you go to the bank and miss your mortgage payment. You immediately call your mortgage company and they start harassing you about the missing payment. Your negative thinking has caused this to happen, and so it goes with every other area of your life.

The first thing you must do is stop you from dwelling on negatives. Remembering all the things you wish you'd done or could have done, is nothing but a mental exercise. It will help keep you busy thinking positively about all the positive things in your life. The more you focus on all the good that is going right, the more you will feel happy. And positive thoughts are the starting point toward happiness.

The second thing you can do to stop negative thoughts leads directly back to the first one. When you have negative thoughts, think happy thoughts! This is the key to changing your negative outlook on life. When you think happy thoughts, you will notice yourself smiling more often. This will help you avoid the situations and people that bring out your negative side. And as your positive outlook spreads, more negative thoughts will start to slip out of your consciousness.

If you continue to think negative, your life will only get worse. So instead of dwelling on what a bad situation you are in, change your thoughts into something more positive. Begin to look at all the positives in your life, rather than seeing the negative side. As you do this, your mind will begin to shift into thinking more positively. And soon your negative thoughts will become a distant memory, as your thoughts start to turn to the brighter side.
