How do you enjoy every moment of life?
It's very simple..
Stop.
Stop running around, multitasking, letting your mind run wild..
And be completely in the present moment.
Sound easy? It's not.
Presence means absent of thought. And by thought I mean internal dialogue.
As humans, we think excessively.
It's why our cortisol levels are so high and why we aren't able to appreciate every moment.
But you can quiet this and become present by focusing all of your attention on your senses: sight, smell, touch, sound, and taste.
Notice I said attention, not thoughts.
To think is to judge something. To determine whether it's "good" or "bad."
Don't judge, just observe.
Overthinking is what kills your ability to enjoy every moment. It's why most people are unhappy.
Cut this habit out and replace it with presence.
