Today is my first day of chemotherapy. I’ve been extremely emotional since they called me yesterday and told me today was the day. I’m the type that over thinks about the side effects.
It’s almost Thanksgiving and I was looking forward to enjoying the holiday. I hoping I will still get to enjoy it and not feel sick. I’m not sure I’ve ever really thought about what I’m thankful for around this time. This year I’m thankful to be alive. I’m thankful for my 3 healthy sons @aaronthegoat @daniel-san @theharvey . I am so thankful for my love @runridefly !! He has been right next to me through this journey and I know it’s been hard on him.
I love you babe with all my heart! I can’t wait for this to all be over... we will need a vacation!!

Thank you for the prayers! I already have some MMJ... it helped me so much through a horrible infection I got after the biopsy so I have it on hand for chemo as well👍🏼 I stayed away from pain pills through some of the worst pain I ever felt!

I am too which is why I never ask what they are...... I know it sounds dumb but that's what your family is for..to let you know what to expect.
YOU just be YOU and keep positive!!! THAT is your only job through all of this.
I'm not saying don't know what is going on with your body..but the more you stress the more/worse you will feel. Let your family help when you need it most and it sure seems like now is the time.
LEAN on them. It's what family is for. Times like you will now have ahead......until you go on that much needed vacation then you might owe @runridefly a beer or You know.........that thing.......they like........ :D

I know several people who have been through chemotherapy, and you can rest assured that things have come a long way in the last few years. Most of the chemo medications now cause much fewer side-effects than they once did, and medical professionals have learned some great techniques to minimize and manage what side-effects do present themselves. So, it is really nothing to worry about nowadays!
Also, the more relaxed and positive your outlook, the better the treatment will work! It sounds like you already have a loving family behind you, and now you have some of us on the blockchain cheering for you, too! We're with you! YOU CAN DO THIS! 💛

A friend sent me and I see why, I have worked extensively with cancer fighters and you got this! Diet, rest, and herbs meant for you and your body. We need to start a tag #fuckcancer on Steemit!! The practice I have is through Reiki and many hospitals have this as a complimentary to the treatments you are receiving. Maybe check through your hospital to se did they offer this, it helps through the stress, assists in your healing process. Always remember you are in control of your own healthcare and body.

It will be a tough journey for you. My father just went through it and just got the all clear. Sending you lots of strength and most of all positivity as it is one of the things that has been known to get people through. I would also highly recommend meditation as it can change your relationship with pain and suffering. I'm sure you have a good support team around you to support you please do keep as in touch with your journey so we can support you here as well. So much love xx

I am so sorry that you have to undergo this procedure, were you given any other options? You can fight this cancer and research shows other options. Chemo is such an immune suppressor where you need a healthy immune system to fight CA. Please check other modalities where the right food can also boost your immune system and fights the disease. Wishing you well.

No other options really. The cancer was pretty much removed but I guess this helps my chances of it coming back. I’m not a fan of all this crazy medical stuff but it would be a big fight if I told my family I wasn’t doing all this :( so I’m just waiting for it all to be over
