In a location with an ever increasing population density, spaciousness and privacy takes a backseat to survivalism. With prices on the rise more and more people are driven in to the squalor of the cubicle life. In this photo journey we get a look inside the lives of the many who live in such cramped quarters.

That's heartbreaking.

It truly is. There is enough resources on this planet for everyone to live like a king, but that only could happen with benevolent leaders.
Unfortunately we don't seem to be in that reality.

We're very unlikely to get to that reality anytime soon. One of the problems is basic human nature - no matter how much and what you have, you always want something more and/or something else.

I may do an in depth post on the Kowloon Walled City if there is enough interest. It is very interesting.
