How do you feel about...the penis!!!

Very true. I've heard enough studies showing not circumcised feel so much more.

And glad someone sees I wanted this to be more respectful but with a smile as it is a...sensitive...subject ๐Ÿ˜‰

Totally agree on it being a sensitive subject.. there's a lot of hurt and judgement that is really based in the conscious or unconscious trauma of having your free-dome of choice taken away.

Even more so it's a decision the medical industry has tricked parents into fearing has to be done, when 99% of circumcisions are NOT at all anatomically required. So what you get are some very defensive stances on why it's ok and "better", which I totally get. If you grew up feeling vulnerable your whole like and over exposed it's gonna have some effect on how you see it.

Overall I know all my brothers out there are no less of a man, with or without their natural hood. I just feel sad that the western world has been lead to believe it's a necessary procedure or even worse that it's ascetically superior when actually it's psychologically and permanently damaging. No matter how subtle or not in my opinion and there's no two ways about it. Little babies are just too young to communicate what the fuck they feel or think about the chop.

Final thought cos I can feel my own energy tending towards my own bias now and in now way, no way do I want any cut brothers to feel anger for my words. Just consider this, real talk; when you are uncircumcised how would you ever forcibly rape anyone who is unwilling? I know this is a bit of a dark theoretical idea however just think about it, the pain would be excruciating! For both male and female of course.

Sure I don't know if anyone could even find the real stats on this.. it's just something that popped into my mind right now and makes me wonder.. if no more rapes was a single reason not to circumcise little boys, aside from not abusing their genitals without consent.. then would the world wake up?

Wow ok reading back, I've obviously not as gracefully expressed as I intended. My words just spilled out, I am sorry my brother who have been hurt this way. I am sorry if you feel you have had to make up for the loss of your choice. Your protective shield, your man-hood. I'm sorry if you have never thought about it before and my words are triggering. I am just so sorry that the establishment gets away with this fucking ridiculous practice and has the whole western society thinking it's just about looks..

I'm sorry. All I can do is promise to explain to my son that he is whole and complete and that this is natures beautiful design. And to have compassion for others who have suffered through no fault of their own. I'm done, should just sit down now and breath. Sending love out to the waves and thank you @lydiaravenswood for this provocative and important reflection.

I really appreciate your viewpoint on this. Because as a man you can a totally different angle to look at this from than females like myself. I mean even from a neutral standpoint it's not right to take away someone's choice. A baby has no say.
Also I've heard one too many horror stories of botched circumcisions by Rabbis and doctors alike. Talk about a way to destroy a man from the jump! And I mean that cut so badly the penis isn't really there! Or the balls getting damaged even.
Add on many men noticing something is "off" about their penis that they later find out was cause of there being too much skin cut.
I've heard the religious standpoint as well that it's unholy or whatnot to have the hood there. And the health thing is from men not being able to bathe enough in a time when water and bathing was rare to come by. Now it's not so it makes no sense. Now if a man wants to do it later on, that's then his choice.

But I'm confused by the rape part...

Hey thanks, I guess I just walked straight into this one and just hit me hard about how it's still even a thing. Though ranting like I did was not really cool, I gotta practice a lil compassionate filter sometimes.

Don't even get me started on that sick religious shit though, please it's dark and questionably satanic. You don't even have to dig too far down the rabbit hole to see how the way that goes down is simply not right.. I'll see if I can find some leads for you.

Edit: Here you go.. warning do not watch if easily offended.

Anyway, yep this is a SUPER sensitive topic and I feel I've already crossed over the line. I'm obviously speaking from a personal bias and want to be more mindful about my choice of words. Above all I do not mean to seem judgey, or shaming anyone. These are just my opinions and anyone who did not have a consenting circumcision, majority; it wasn't your fault and I don't think I'm any better than anyone just because I was able to escape unscathed.

That bathing water and hygiene bs is ridiculous, as is the "too much skin" excuse, it's a fucking baby dick wtf are they thinking? Finally I guess some could see my point about rapes as a bit too far of a reach, especially since rapes come in all kinds of sick levels of abusive and manipulative forms. I get that, I actually didn't find the right words to express what I was attempting to explain fully before I started typed. I realize that now reading back. Though if you have been subconsciously raped of your foreskin as a infant, who knows what kind of behavioral schism are you seeding? Let's not get into the fact that most rapists are also rape victims.. how is this not some form of rape:

Warning: Explicit. Most do not believe without seeing direct evidence of this "ritual".

My point though, was theoretically, violent, forced intercourse would be fucking fucking painful to anyone who knows what it's like to have a entirely intact penis. Ask any man what a dry hand job is like or even with a bit of moisture cos I know some smart ass will point out even rape victims do sometimes have physical signs of arousal. At the very least my point does still hold true for sodomy, buggery, ass rape, however you want to put it.

Though to counter balance, if can get aroused by forcing yourself on someone, you probably don't care too much to notice your own pain or injury, pulling your dick skin back aggressively is not fun for most uncut men. It's there for a reason, to protect you and the point of foreplay and even early penetration is to go slow cos not only will you tear your partner up but that's not joy full bliss until she has time to open up and accommodate you.

A apology from a mom and some insights many have never considered:

Here I am going on again.. not going to mansplain all the details, you obviously know yourself too. Taking your time to go slow and build up is all important for love making of course. However, care less fucking? Add to that the influence of "hardcore" porno "banging" and add to that removing the sensitivity of male genitalia? Well it's a recipe for trouble and yes I know it sounds contradiction coming from me. I'm not proud of everything porn represents, however I have no regrets for my part in portraying adult consensual sex.

However during my decade tenure as a male performer, the insights and the sorrowful stories I've heard from all over the business, I still find it mind boggling and heart breaking how any man can do this. Which has lead me to think about what factors play into it actually physiologically happening? At the very least the foreskin helps remind a man to take his time and make sure his partner is fully aroused and ready, cos even then it can hurt.. a lot!

That's my all. Just one mans opinion and I don't feel as if I know it all or even that anyone would agree with what I say. We're all entitled to our opinions right?

While the videos are controversial they are accurate in showing why these practices are a bad idea.

But as for the rape, as someone's who done a good deal of sex/gender research i can say that rape is almost never about the actual act of sex like actual sex is. It's about the power, control and pain they are causing someone else. That's what they're getting off on. So I don't think that, for the ones who are still intact, are thinking of that type of pain for them. They are getting off on knowing the other person is "beaten" by them. Granted though it sounds like having the skin gone may make rape less painful for the rapist in that sense...

But I never knew that, for a man who is still intact, not being fully aroused could be painful if they try to have sex...

Appreciate your response and research @lydiaravenswood, I agree it's not easy to perceive where a rapist mentality comes from or even how it originates. Seeing it from your example, these males are not caring about anyone else's pain. Especially when getting off on power, dominance and beating/abusing the victim.

To me this still represents the imbalance of the internal masculine/feminine energies. Post traumatic stress from any early physical, mental or spiritual childhood injuries are of course not defenses. Perhaps just another example of societal cult-ure practices are often overlooked.

Of course it would be difficult for anyone without a intact penis to identify any of this as possible sources of equally harmful actions, intentions or manifestations.

Above all I get and respect your point.

Um, I'm going by the scientific route as we do seem to know why a person, not even a man, rapes. The chemicals in the brain are already messed up in how they think and consider others lives and how they affect them. So rape, for them, mentally from birth, isn't a "bad" thing in the way the rest of us see it.

There is some debate on the nurture aspect. Again, this is from the angle of all genders. Cause females do rape as well. They were abused at some point in their life, usually sexually, and perpetuate that violence because the brain was damaged in the process of the act.
