CASUALTIES OF WAR -- INNOCENT VICTIMS…

Our World Today

The rationalized killing of such innocent lives.., young girls with their mothers, our daughters and wives -- being used as a tool to instill a message of fear…The justified notion that these cowardly killings and despicable acts of violence, advance an agenda or right any wrongs -- is so far beyond the pale, lacking any sense or logic, only reinforces to the rest of the world, the urgency at which this disgraceful, intolerable behavior -- must not, will not.., and cannot win the day.

Uniting distant nations with the blood of our children, the most blameless among us, seen as targets somehow… Just trying to live in a land of the free, enjoy a good concert, happy just to be -- now victims of a madman, an unrighteous cause, a sign of savage times -- casualties of war.

Born to be peaceful, but knowing more of violence -- the length of their lives outlived by needless war. Never-ending conflicts that existed before their birth, invaded their world and robbed them of their lives… Growing up in this day, aware of senseless killing, the randomness that has become life and death, takes on a whole new meaning for this generation of unlikely warriors.

The soul of humanity stained with the blood of its youth -- the hope for the future.., and the light of your eye, walks a thin line each time we wake to the cries of more dead. The eyes of the universe fill with the tears of our souls, when the most faultless of us all are slaughtered for their innocence.

Combating a sickness that spreads like a disease -- the lack of morality, so ill at ease. Feeling disenfranchised or that the world has passed you by, is certainly no reason to attack some little girls… The evil that approached that stadium full of joy.., and waited outside to kill and destroy, discarding any code people used to live by -- crossing all the lines that society abides, stealing the light out of those beautiful souls.

We live in this world shrouded in a completely false sense of safety… Where hanging with your friends, having a little fun -- going to a damn concert.., makes you a target, even if you're a little girl! We've let ourselves believe there is this invisible bubble of security that not only protects us.., but our children, as well. But still children die everyday in conflicts across the globe -- they die of starvation from all the greed that still exists, die from lack of healthcare and proper medication, from dirty drinking water and…

But when children are targeted -- thought of as prey.., we've crossed all those lines, no more shades of grey. Forever darkening the lives of all those childless parents.., the senseless murder of our youth, for one insane purpose -- to inspire fear and change our way of life… IT NEVER WORKS we've been here before; from Charlie Hebdo to a radicalized couple in San Bernardino -- people will not cower.., and the world unites against them. We've been here before and stood our ground proudly -- but fuck with our children and you've gone too far.

As Manchester cries.., we all grieve for your loss. We stand by your side and offer up our solemn thoughts. We all know too well, how precious.., young life is -- We feel your pain.., and are MANCHESTER STRONG!
