It cannot be more explained. First time in my life i've stepping longer on a @steemit post -like this one made by @chbartist -and view what kind of debate were @anthonyadavisii and @spectrumecons involved .
That reflected how much must be changed on the Steem Community, such as the way on what do we need to stop doing in order to make ourselves notorious.
By now, the best discussion i've seen on a post...
Hello @spectrumecons and @anthonydavisii!!
Sorry for not replied your comments here. I was busy at my work.
Sadly, Steemit still not popular site and it still considered more like a 'site for cryptolovers and oportunists'. That would be the reason about why users like @chbartist and many of top users -or not top users- had been, in the way i'm thinking, forced to use bot to make themselves popular and seen.
But some smart people knows that this is not the only site where you can hire bots in order to make popular your works. Some black hats knows how build reputation through bot service and make money in most of popular sites.
So this is the way to say if you are not Kylie Jenner or someone else with a lot money to get ready to waste in promoting itself on internet; or if you don't know about programming, sadly, youre wasting your time just being constant and having vocation, because after posting and article or a video and you see that almost nobody see it, after this, you gonna stop doing it and you wrongly realize that you are not good or you are not made for entertain people and you won't ever even know your skills within.
And then, if Smart Media Tokens will represent a huge mistake in the career of some Steemers, we won't know so untill the days after the release date...

Thanks for that @maikelblogo. Steem lacks good alternative promotion options. The 'promotion' tag is a waste of money. Bots require a lot of Steem to make a difference. The Steem is repaid on payout of the post but this is coming from the rewards pool, which takes opportunities from others to earn rewards.
The Steem ecosystem has many problems but most of these can be solved. There are many possible solutions to the identified problems. Witnesses have discussed them but very little progress is made.

I'm not entirely sure what you are saying. What is your position on what @chbartist is doing?
I noticed you enclosed the SMT section of my response which I was curious.
Would love to hear more of your thoughts and, if we are able to create such a community.
I think your post could have been much more poignant but not sure if people understand what you are saying in regard to the discussion.
Perhaps, I can help you clarify the language.

Hey @maikelblogo, do you have an opinion on the conversation and the comment I included in this post?

Hi @maikelblogo. I'm glad our conversation caught your attention. I agree that the Steem ecosystem is not perfect. I believe there are many ways to go about changing things. Many ideas have been bounced around such as changing curation rewards, including downvote mana pools, improved frontends and interfaces that enable promotion, and removing the 'all tag' trending page. Unfortunately, very little progress to making any changes has occurred. There were some discussions a few months back that changes will be made after SMTs have been released. However, it appears SMTs will be delayed.
In regards to @chbartist. He has received the highest total payouts for his posts for at least the last 30 days. Most of the payouts are coming from bots. These payouts are coming from the rewards pool regardless of who receives them. This means that there is less in the rewards pool for everyone else. Based on the numbers on https://usesteem.com/steemwhales/topauthors and my rough calculation. @chbartist has taken approximately 2.5% of the rewards pool over the last 30 days. If there were 20 users like @chbartist that would be half the rewards gone. The top ten on that list are taking about 8% of the rewards pool (some for themselves and others sent to bots).
I am also aware that @chbartist has helped a lot of people as well. I am not labelling him a villain. Instead, I am highlighting that his excessive use of bots has consequences for all other users on Steem.
I would love to know what you think about this discussion. It would be great if @chbartist could also participate in this discussion.
Also considering that @chbartist has reached a certain level of fame in the Brazilian Music Industry. It would be great if he could team up with @theycallmedan to help promote Steem to a wider audience. External marketing on Instagram, Facebook etc would help as well. Seems like there is a large audience that could be drawn to Steem. Maybe somebody needs to talk with Pamela Barbosa in regards to promoting @chbartist's Steem content on other platforms.
