You are very right .. The media is the most to blame in encouraging these nut jobs. The media is more in the business in attracting viewers then reporting the facts...I saw the major cable networks stayed on the El Paso shooting into the night .. preempting regular shows even though they had nothing new to report. Couldn't they have just broke in to the regular shows with a report if something new came up.. Instead they show looped footage of the same scenes with talking heads giving their speculated opinions.

as far as I'm concerned the founding fathers didn't create laws about the Free Press because they felt sympathetic to large multibillion-dollar corporations being able to lie. They created because they wanted the people to be informed. If the Free Press isn't doing that job than the Free Press isn't doing what it was created for and it needs to be changed.
I'm not totally against the idea of a free press. Not against the Free Press. But the reality is there are some things that they do they're just outright bad for the country.
we need common-sense laws. Nobody's talking about stopping the Free Press. We're just talking about some basic Common Sense laws on
