76 mm MM Divisional towed gun, M1942 (ZIS-3)

This 76mm gun is Soviet made and was widely used by the artillery even on soviet ships.

As the gun was further developed with improvements made on the overall canon weight as well as its range

China used the gun as a mountain gun after converting it to a pack version. In another version it was used as a tank gun.

In the current day the gun is however not powerful enough and thus not widely used anymore.

The weapon in picture was obtained in Angola during the bushwar.
