Baby Dawn

Every Saturday night my girlfriend comes back to Cebu after a whole week of working at Lapu-lapu city. At this point we spend the night at her siblings apartment here in Cebu City as well as stay over the entire Sunday, one of her sisters has an adorable, playful kid, and her name is Dawn.

Baby dawn is now coming close to two years of age. She can walk, run and speak. The speaking part is baby talk of course but there are concrete words like when you ask “A stands for?”, She says Apple. And just recently, like two weeks ago, her mom told us when you ask “T stands for?”, she would immediately say TITO, TITO means uncle in the Filipino, at that point the word TITO means ME. These are the sweet gestures that only children can make.

Dawn shows off affection easily, when she doesn’t like something it make her feel sad then she would cry, you would know it in her face, the look on her face is so pure. There was a time that she would not come near me because I was not familiar to her, the protective side of any child I guess.

But if Baby Dawn is happy, her smile is so adorable and anyone of us would be glad when she does smile. Her smile is often shown when she is playing with her stuff animals. When any of us grabs her stuff animal and give it to her she would instantly take it, giving her stuff animal a hug & a kiss.

I am so happy to have witness these moments.
