1 150meters in the pool today at the gym, in roughly 30 minutes.
When I arrived, this gentleman I have seen before nodded a greeting and I smiled back. He gestured if I wanted the lane he was swimming in, and I gestured back no.
At the other side of the pool a girl was learning to swim together with her trainer. This girl is so scared of drowning, that just being there makes her a hero.
I took the middle. I am like this energizer bunny we see in commercials when I swim. Lap after lap after lap. At one point, this girls trainer made a thumbs up. I gotta say, it made me smile and push harder.
Before I was done, another gentleman had gotten in to the pool, and he nodded as I left.
I must say, it is very encouraging to swim at this gym. Everyone cheers you on to do your best.
Very positive!!! Very healthy, and it gives you the happy we need so much.
People are amazing when you are at a gym.
