Physician-assisted suicide (PAS), , involves a doctor "knowingly and intentionally providing a person with the knowledge or means or both required to commit suicide.
Individuals must have a terminal illness as well as a prognosis of six months or less to live. Physicians cannot be prosecuted for prescribing medications to hasten death.
As a doctor in Critical Care Unit, I often come across such cases where I have to decide whether to assist suffering soul to commit suicide and relieve themselves from worldly pains and sorrows.
But it is illegal in my country and it is painful to watch terminally ill patient to bear such pain.
So what are your views about this procedure??
Should it be made legal in all over the world to allow suffering souls to end their life with dignity or it should remain illegal and let the terminally ill patients die a horrible death?
it worked GREAT in the Soviet Union
they had special facilities built.
Gulags I think they were called.
