Indulge in meditation - focusing on themselves and quietly for a long time relaxes tension and depression;

Go out - stay in nature reduces the level of the hormone cortisol, which is often measured stress;

Participate in cultural activities - the visit of play or participation in hobby club also relieve unpleasant feelings and lead to higher satisfaction;

Spend your money on others - whether it's a gift to a relative or a donation to charity, it makes people happier;

Be the volunteers - recent research shows that volunteering has a very positive impact on psychological health. It is associated with reduced risk of depression, high overall satisfaction and less risk of mental illness.

In other words, if you want to increase the positive mood in the long term, focus on its current state, be happy with what you have and stop for a moment to enjoy it. After a month or a year you'll be thankful that you did.
