Yesterday morning I found an animal on the path from my house to the beach. I was so surprised, terrified, and didn't know what to do, how to react. Because, she (I suppose it's girl) looked like is dead.

But when I came closer to her, she started to move.

She looked weak and tired, but gave me a little smile.

Look at her face, she looks so sad, like she lost someone.

I'm not sure which one was more scared, she or me... Therefore, I left her in peace because she started to growl.
A little further on the beach we found a little baby seal siting on the tree, that's why I suppose that big one was girl, probably she is his mother.

He was so shy and scared... When he saw us, he fled back into the sea.

It was so great experience for me because they are so rear here and I didn't expect that I will be so near to this beautiful animal. I should take a selfie, but I was too scared to come closer to her. :D

So, do you like my friend Seal? She was in our path during the whole day, and even before I went to bed, I checked if she was still there. And she was. In the next morning, my new friend disappeared. However, I'm glad because of that, now I know that she wasn't hurt and after all, her home is ocean.

All the best my dear reader, wish you meeting with seal too! Not in the circus or some public tourist attraction pool, but in the nature, spontaneously for you, spontaneously for Seal! :D

Woww wtf a seal?! where the hell do you live? haha

South Island, New Zealand. Almost Antarctica :D

I was going to ask the same question! I hope to visit New Zealand someday on my travels.

You need to go to the West Coast, it's amazing. And you can take a look on my previous posts, they are almost all from New Zealand.
