Every time a new iPhone model is released, the previous one slows down and users are forced to buy a new model. The recent test results and reports confirm this fact.

Apple has claimed that iPhone 6, 6s, se and 7 "slowed down" to prevent unexpected shutdowns that could occur due to the decrease in battery life.

After the announcement, collective and individual lawsuits were filed against Apple from different states of the United States. Apple apologized saying, "We're going to sell discounted batteries."

Thanks for this information.

Thanks for your post. I wonder if they will now jack the price back up for a battery replacement :P

Thank You ;)

While I understand why this performance throttling was done, they could have just been open about this and maybe just given an option to the users instead.
