The tyrant's best friend...

The man who trusts his government over his own neighbour is the tyrant's best friend. If you wouldn't trust your neighbour with a gun, then it is only logical to conclude that the government shouldn't be trusted with firearms, either.

The tyrant is only able to exercise his power by sowing the seeds of distrust and hatred amongst the common people. It goes a little something like this: Ensure the peasants are bickering and fighting amongst each other, so that the tyrant has the perfect excuse to come swooping in as the self-proclaimed savior to save the people from themselves. That's how monarchs ruled for so many years. The people were convinced that they HAD to be ruled by a third party, because they had such an unhealthy distrust of their fellow neighbor.

Reminder: 'Gun control' simply means the government has a monopoly on firearms -- does that sound like a good idea to you?
