Saturday!!! I'm only here for the beer!! Nothing sinks down better than a few cold ones on a Saturday night, dontcha think? This week I have a shocker, an early Christmas beer made it into my selection. I know I know, Christmas is five weeks away. In my defense all the beer shops are loading up on the stuff and is hard not to buy a festive one.

A Christmas ale from Brewdog weighing in at 4.5% abv. It claims to be a Scotch Christmas ale. A puzzling expression considering that Brewdog is a Scottish brewers and the term Scotch is sneered at in Scotland? Bizarre! But let's try the beast and see.
It pours smooth, like a nuns hymen. Looks good too. I can feel my knackers twitch!
Hmm, I taste it. It's quite a distinctive heavy ale as they call them in Scotland. Their is a caramel aftertaste and a slight bitterness to it but nothing really special. If I was in a shit pub and got served this I would probably be happy. If I was in a good pub I would be disappointed but still drink it. 6/10.
Now the next one.. 5% and this should be absolutely amazing. I mean Motorhead... When I saw the bottle, memories of Lemmy and seeing the band live flooded down upon me. It was a little cheap by a brewery (Camerons) I had never heard of but that didn't have to be bad did it? Please be good little beer. Pleeeease!!
Oh no, look at this insipid thing. Far be it from me to judge a book by it's cover but it looks shit. Maybe this is why it was so cheap? Oh well, to the tasting...
Bleeurgh. Just in case the GIF above does not convey my opinion of this very well I will state it clearly. It's absolutely awful. Like cheap supermarket own brand lager that someone has drank then rebottled after a good outward pissing. Geuuhr.. 2/10 ( I gave it two points because you could probably use it to put out a fire.
Well, that wasn't the best. Well, I am a positive chap, I am going to drink some other different beers and see what colour the world is in the morning!

It's funny you should say that because I often have some nuts or crisps kicking about when I have a beer and they didn't help! Not in the slightest. I knew it was bad when I went on to a real beer after those two and it was lovely!

I've heard before the Christmas beer, however not from this brand, I've never tried it,
the tasting of today were also unknown to me, apparently they were not so good judging by their punctuation,

Ach! Your second negative week! It's a damn shame that Motorhead and Santa didn't push the beers over the edge. When you think of holiday beers, I immediately think of a lot of flavors for inspiration. Very disappointed that Brewdog threw out a meh beer. Suffice to say that it's knocked down several pegs in the tourney of beers. And the Motorhead one... gah! The lowest scoring beer so far! I am shaking my head beyond its limits! Terribwe, terribwe..

I remember at the beginning when you were hitting it out of the park every time, I wished that there would be a stumble to see how you would react. I felt terribwe when it came with the duds in the same batch. The feeling is even worse this time around. I had only wanted to, as you say, highlight the greater ones, but getting duds feels like getting lumps of coal. Money and time wasted. I bet our future brewery would never produce duds that would get a 2 out of 10! I wish you had that gif before I did my Cervezabado. Would've been a better Mad Boom graphic haha!
