✳️ Success: Finding a Mentor Who Has Already Done What You Are Trying To Accomplish ✳️

Fortunate I'd Say

I have mentioned often about the hard knocks it took to get to this stage in my life. What I don't mention much is that I'd like to write a book about it. My friend, author Craig Weber has been a big encouragement in this.

Along with being an author, Craig is a consultant for many companies across the world. Businesses rely on his expertise for problem solving - especially as it relates to communication.

He wrote about his findings in the book "Conversational Capacity." I'd say I am pretty fortunate to have him as a long time friend - way before he wrote it. Once I told him of my wanting to write, he immediately began to offer knowledge, tips, and insights on getting it done.

Writing Well

I've gotten many great tips on the process of writing from Craig. These, I have been working on, and perfecting by blogging. My Steemit blog will be part of my writing process, and eventually will be a book. I know, without a doubt that I will continue to write well. I have access to a mentor who has already done it, and is more than ready to share his knowledge.

But, what if you don't have a mentor you can gain knowledge from?

Those of you who have followed this blog already know what I'm about to say. 😊

Through books (and audiobooks) we have access to a wealth of knowledge that we often forget.

In the pic at the top, (which is on another blog here) Craig is at one of my gigs giving me the book "On Writing Well." I am reading it now, and will be applying what I learn in it to my writing. Yes, you can find a mentor in a book.

• We DO have access to many mentors - most have left us information that will last for generations to come.
• If you do have access to a mentor, be like a sponge and absorb all you can.
• Then, get to work 😊✌🏾
