Skin rashes are usually ignored until they get really bad...

However, if you were to get a wart or large pimple on your face, then you whole world is doomed.

I remember getting a red blotch on my face not too long ago.
Everybody noticed an commented on it, to the point that it freaked me out.

Some said it was caused by stress...
Others commented allergies and even claimed it was a tumour...

Another said, it was allergies and I should avoid all kind of meats and seafood.

I didn't go to KFC for more than two months... but the rashes still didn't go away.

My neighbour gave me an anti-fungal cream but even that didn't help a thing.

Anyway that wasn't the worst of it.

Suddenly everyone become a doctor and knew the perfect treatment for my skin ailment.
One person said it was "semai", even recommended a good "Bomoh" or "Bobohizan" at Tuaran.
My aunt even recommended me to drink black chicken soup( Why black chicken?)

Here we go again...

But....

The blotch still persisted after 1 weeks.

My social life was dying.

Whenever everyone looks at me, their focus on the red patches on my cheek.
(The looks on their face... It's like when you look at the ceiling and it will always be the small hole defect that you focus on.)

The cute guy in the class that always smiles at me even noticed it (Oh... No!!!).

Here goes my chances of dating him.

I was getting desperate.

I anxiously searched the internet and blogs.

  • Some said that we should get it checked whether it is a pimple, rash, eczema or whatever...

I decided to get professional advice.

I went to the doctor and confessed. I poured my heart out to him and begged him.

He laughed.. (What's wrong with Him?!!).

Can't he see that I'm on the verge of social suicide.

Anyways, he gave me a cream and some tablets.

To my amazement, the rash slowly faded and I got my life back within a week.

To cut the story short, it's best to seek professional help when we have a problem and not listen to the non-professional advice.

2 months didn't go to KFC?? LOL. I know how you feel when having skin problems especially when it is on your face or near it. They looked at you like you are an Alien or something.

Yes, should have seek professional help from doctor before things get worst. I have skin allergies too and the calamine lotion works well for me for many years already. You may try using it if you happened to have any skin allergies.
