Good Day Y'all,
This will be my LAST Arizona trip post. This post I'm going to dive into a few of the different fun things we did that I didn't take a TON of photos at. Making memories with your eyes and heart are much better anyways! So, let's get go it!
ZOO!
I haven't been to a zoo in like... 10 years, they've remodeled the one in my hometown like a dozen times and I have yet to go see it... But, we went in Arizona and I was not dissapointed!! With Heidi being so young, she didn't really have a care about anything but being afraid of the animals and running away from us.. And the ducks. Although me and my partner had a lovely time and the other, older girls had a blast!!
This zoo opened up in the 60's and is the largest non profit zoo in the United States. AMERIKA. It is 125 acres of land with tons of different animals, reptiles and rides.
Heidi wasn't a fan of the giraffe, she cried.
One of the other places we went to was called Jake's unlimited!
This place is a MUST SEE... If you like having fun. Fun for all ages, jake's unlimited is a place where you can play tons of different arcade games, win tickets and prizes, eat unlimited food such as 10+ types of pizza, several diff. Types of pasta, salad bar and ice cream! UN-FREAKING-LIMITED FOOD! by far probably my favorite part. The place also has a huuuuge lazer tag area, bowling for children and big kids/adults, rides such as teacups, bumper cars and marry go rounds, a bar for adults to enjoy a adult beverage and multiple sized party rooms to host a birthday celebration, corporate outing or just to hang out!
For 5$ extra I tried VR for the 1st time.. Was so much fun!! Now I want one for my house.
... I think I'm having more fun the Heidi...
Papa (@ate-bit-dave) teaching heidi to drive already! Eek!
Jake's unlimited was a short 30 min. Drive from where we were staying and everyone had an absolute blast!
Last but certainly not least... LEGO LAND!!!
We had an absolute blast, as we did at all these places. It's really geared towards children of all ages. They had tiny Legos, and large real brick sized rubber ones for someone like Heidi who can choke. They had different Lego sections with each designated area a different theme. Such as boy Legos and girl Legos, and even a amusement park ride, that was lame for adults lol.. And a big no shoe play structure type thing.
We had a great time in Arizona, even considered moving there because who wants to live in a placr where when you go outside it's so cold the air hurts your face?? Plus, I can have UNLIMITED plants... Inside and outside and it would make me the happiest girl on the planet. We had an amazing time, made great memories and new friends, ate delicious, American food we don't have here in Canada and all in all would go back in a heartbeat! I'm going to throw up a few more rando pics I have that I felt needed to be shared.
Do you live in arizona? If so can we become legitimate best friends?!?
Heidi riding her 1st "middle of the mall, 1$" amusement park ride! She loooooved it!!
Had to include the McDonald's pics, because there's actually a helarious back story here. At home, my partner and I watch YouTube over television, more educational and entertaining. Anyways, a YouTuber we watched said to not avoid food places you have at home cause they could be different... So we went to McDonald's. At home, in Canada, I enjoy dipping fries into Mcchicken sauce. So I asked the lady for a few packets of mcchicken sauce. She looked at me, Wierd, saying "what?" I said again mcchicken sauce... She was fairly confused at this point I looked up to the menu and realized.. THEY DO NOT EVEN SERVE MCCHICKENS ON THE MENU... So she said "mayo ? " and I laughed and said sure, basically the same thing.
So try out common food places, everywhere you go!
Until next time...
XOXO,
MM
