For most people, the first hour of their day is mainly about getting ready to do other things, and by getting ready I mean just doing some routine that actually makes you ready to start your day, but here is the thing, the first hour of your day is the most important one and is significantly effective on your performance during the day and the outcome at the end of it. in other words, if you want to be productive, you have to be energized and focused on the things you want to do. know let's go through some methods t o boost our productivity during the day.
Exercise!
It is a no-brainer that exercising will help you to be focused and more energized. exercising in the morning will clear your mind and help you get ready for big challenges on the way, you could do it by hitting the GYM, jogging at a park near your house or whatever way you see it fit, the result would be the same as long as you don't exhaust yourself and your muscles,because that is going to have a vice versa effect on your brain.
Eating healthy food
It is still a no-brainer that eating healthy food will boost your memory nad help your brain to function better, but this factor is more important when you are facing the breakfast, after exercising you will need some energy, fiber, sugar, protein, etc... and breakfast is what makes exercising work. if you don't take your firs meal of the day, you probably will not be going to be able to end it at your best, and you will feel the lack of energy when you are facing some challenges.
Take care of your Emails
as soon as you get to work, try to respond to your emails and answer the urgent ones, this way you will take a load off your chest and also you won't be surprised at the end of the day if something came up the day before, and also you will have the whole day to make some room for the tasks forwarded to you. after all, nobody likes to stay overtime just because he/she could not manage his/her time.
Know what your are going to do
Not everyone knows specifically what he/she is going to during the day, and that is not good at all, if you want to be productive, you need to know where are you going, what are you doing and how you are going to do it, just waking up and getting to work make you a productive person, determine what is it that you are going to do and what you are supposed to accomplish at the end of it, and make every step count because you have plan and each of those goals matter to help you to reach what you have planned before.
set a priority list
having lots of goals for a day is fine, but problems come around when you don,t know which one has a higher priority, and as some people say "you can't go wrong with a to-do list", so make one and prioritize your goals and the tasks that you are supposed to accomplish during the day.this way if for any reason you could not check all your list, at least the more important ones are done.
Conclusion
If you want to be happy with your work at the end of the day, you need to make effort, stay healthy by exercising and having a proper diet, making a plan for the day and sticking to it. I hope you found it useful to try in your daily basis.

I would add a tip here, take a 2/5 minute break every 20/30 minutes whatever you do to recenter and catch yourself if you slip in some social media feed endless scroll :D
