Two months ago my first child has been born. Her name is Nina. It seems like those months have passed in an instant. I am very happy to have such a great wife who has turned her life and give 100% of her time toto our little daughter.

I have of course expected that it is not going to be easy. However every day brings new challenge. My first diaper change took quite some time but I am getting better. I almost feel like a pro now :-)

I found out that taking baby for a stroll in a city is not that easy as going out for a walk. You are seriously limited by parking cars on a sidewalks, stairs, mudy roads. Since now I sympathize with disabled people on a wheel chair. I am 6.5 tall (2m) and strollers and not designed for people like me. There are acctualy lot of things that are not designed for people like me. If anyone would be interested let me know in a comments bellow I can create a post about challenges of tall people :D.

With my wife we always wanted two kids. Now when we have our first she is getting a little bit sceptical. It is hard on her. I am trying my best to support her but let's be honest. Men were not made for babysitting an infant. What can we do when they are hungry and crying. we can not silence them with our boobs. My wife is a strong proponent of feeding her only with mother's milk. No artificial substitutes. So it is up to her to wake up several times in the night to feed her. Another challenge is that during the week I am out of town for 3 days on business trips. We live in Bratislava, Slovakia and I work in Amsterdam, Netherland.

it is not all fantastic and peachy there are tough moments but alll in all when she give us a nice big grin we are living the happiest moments in our lifes.
