How to learn new skills quickly, 12 steps will definitely help you

in life •  7 years ago  (edited)

Can I learn skills quickly? You often say to yourself: If I could learn Spanish if I were in my twenties, I would have learned "if I were"

Words that we all say in ourselves to justify after the prohibitions that prevent us from learning anything. The Internet is now a much more open world and there are many sites that give you the exciting information and courses on a lot of skills for free without having to pay a lot of money but just a click of the mouse button on your computer or tablet to find everything you want to learn King Your hands.

asdf.jpg

All that God needs is the will that you must provide in yourself to learn. This has reduced the amount of time spent learning anything. Tony Robbins, a US author and author, says that your ability to progress in this world is coupled with your ability to learn quickly.

  • In this article you will find some steps that can help you sort your thoughts to learn something new you would like to do. Just a small boost that you need to supplement with your own willpower

  • Learn skills :

1- Do not reinvent the wheel:

Why invent a wheel that was invented by ?? There is a common rumor that you should learn anything alone or alone with a lot of effort and time that you can provide when you learn with someone you can help and see what you do not see as you will do with him.
Think of the past when you started learning a new language or how you gained a previous skill. You may have started to take an upward curve, but after many years or months of experience and mistakes, you can reach solutions in the shortest possible way and you are helping some friends avoid the mistakes.

In order to master anything quickly you must consult the skilled players in this skill and those who preceded you to learn to quote from their way in the way you learn this skill so as to avoid the hardships they have experienced before.
These former professionals can add to your dream things you did not expect existed, give you some estimates of what you can face and also can help you in some future solutions. It is important to be your own network.

This step can be achieved by following videos about this skill, a real person you belong to, a blog you like to follow, or even a book or collection of books.

2- Deactivate the skill:

Skill As if it were a big problem that can not be dealt with in the current way you should dismantle this skill into a set of basic skills that are smaller and assembled after which you can talk about this great skill.
Try to find the smallest important things you can learn at first and you will find that you have almost learned about 80% of this skill.

This step applies to Code 20-80 which you can use in many things:

** Work: 80% of sales come from 20% of customers.

** Employees: 80% of the results come from 20% of employees.

** Happiness: 80% of happiness comes from 20% of relationships.

Follow this type of thinking that the simplest things can change a lot in your life including your will to learn. Where 80% of our success can occur from learning 20% of the skill required.

So try to find the simplest basics that give you the ability to learn 80% of the skill in the shortest possible time, which is prepared by Josh Kaufman 20 hours Your task is to find the 20 hours of your time in the shortest possible time.

3- Stop multitasking:

Multitasking guilt makes us happy after the multitude of phone applications from email browsing every 10 minutes to Facebook to Instagram to talk to anyone around us every 5 minutes. All of this can destroy you and take a lot of your time and avoid you learning what you want.

Think of your device when you open more than 20 programs at the same time because it becomes less efficient and slower in processing data.
There are many studies that show that when a person is interrupted from a task, his mind needs 25 minutes to regain the same ability to focus again.

This applies to the long-term focus. In this way, it can take up to 6 months to 12 months or more to learn a skill because you can not keep focus on a project, idea, or talent that applies to everything the mind works on. You lose your passion for the idea the longer you learn it.

4- Repetition, repetition, repetition:

This rule is annoying for many but it is important to learn anything.

There is a study from the University of Florida that found that people think that experts in a field have become experts because they have the skill or talent for it or because they are smarter than those around them may be true, but the lack of talent is not evidence of failure The work of diligence and repetition and perseverance and hard work is What creates geniuses and experts.

5- Look for feedback:

In 1960, when the Beatles were not an important rock band, they went to Hamburg in Germany for a party. The group did not have much money and the acoustics were very bad and did not get the approval of the ponies. What did the group do after this incident? They did not stop playing music and did a lot of training. After getting this quick reaction they were able to make themselves better. This is one of the keys to success and your ability to know the truth of what you are doing in the experience so that you can continuously develop from yourself to become better. This point is related to your ability to accept criticism, which means that you must accept all opinions about you and try to turn them in your favor to develop and learn.

6- Always advance forward:

Unfortunately, many surrender in the middle of the road. Although it is important to know the right time in which to surrender, you must have the ability to resist and to rise from the pitfalls until you reach what you want. One of the American stars, Seth Godin, says there are five reasons for failure.

  1. Performs you time and surrenders.

  2. Execute money and surrender.

  3. Fear and give up.

  4. I am not serious about what you do and give up.

  5. Lose your interest in the thing you love and give up.

Psychologists say there is a so-called transformation cycle, the cycle we go through when we are going to change something like learning a new skill, for example. We start with a lot of ecstasy and excitement at the beginning of this new thing. When events begin to become complicated, the level of decline starts and our performance begins to learn less, and here the lot thinks about giving in, so it is important to expect this point where the slope begins so that you can avoid it or at least prepare for it.

7- Observation, reflection and thinking:

You do not have to fill all your day with work and learning. You have to give some time to think quietly and observe what is around you and what you do for each one. You can come up with many new ideas that can move your life into many different ways. Moments are very important to make you feel peace and quiet.

8- Exercise and experience:

Exercise Exercise is very important above your imagination. Everything you read and theories has no value without actually applying it. You should not stop learning to read and take notes only, but you should experiment and implement what you read in a practical way and no matter how unsuccessful this experience must learn from them to progress and learn more. Think about how Thomas Edison did not just read theories about electricity, but tried, tried and even tried to invent the lamp after many failed experiments. Like that, Henry Ford also did not sit on the docks and plan his car, but began to implement his ideas in an organized manner immediately.

9- Learning values above money:

Money is certainly important but if you are working you should put part of the owner to invest in yourself and you get many new experiences that develop your life.

10- Based on trial and error more than anything:

Most of the inventors and inventions started from the occurrence of something wrong came by accident and even did not know the end of the way you follow the signs and signs and continued to learn and do something you love and tried to discover yourself so that you follow the principle of trial and error until you get what you want it will increase your experience and ability to identify the world.

11- Find someone you challenge:

Believe me the challenge with someone greater than you in this skill is fun and beautiful and gives you the motivation to move and learn and accomplish a lot of what was not to reach him alone, but do not take on my words the wrong loader. What I want to say is a fruitful challenge, not a wish for failure

12- Be thankful:

When you wake up in the morning, write down all the blessings that God has given you and be thankful for that. When you ask someone for help and do so be thankful for him and keep him beautiful. Give as much as you can for free Try to help those around to become your life and teach you a meaning and it will give you a lot of happiness.

  • You have to remember that the value lies in the journey and all that you can gain from your journey to this road and not just its end.

very nice content. thanks bro!

Hey Michael,

It's an awesome article. I like the first point, "We don't need to reinvent the wheel". We have tonne of good ideas which are not 100% original but they are perform really well when we act and implement our thoughts.

I've seen many people don't take steps just because they think their ideas are already implemented.

Contradictory to above statement, I also believe we must try to reinvent the wheel because I think it can make us Billionaire.

From book Zero To One I've learned, we should reinvent the wheel if you wanna be billionaire/millionaire. Facebook and Amazon are companies which don't have any competition today because they who invented social media and e-commerce.

Don't you agree Michael @michaelmorcos?

"Be Fool, Be Hungry"- Steve Jobs
from your post this quote first came to my mind....
helpful post dear. keep it up.
marry christmas

At first I thought, "will be the umpteenth crap to take votes" ..
Reading I understood that it is much more .. For my passion, I read books on Physics, Occult Hebrew, Nikola Tesla, Parapsychology, and there is one thing in common between these topics and what you said before. The law of 20 - 80 !!
Physics says that science has discovered about 20%, 80% is yet to be discovered.
Occult teaches us that the physical world exists, that the skin of the body corresponds to 20%, and then the magical world or the whole interior of the body, that is 80%!
This shows that what you have written besides being useful is mathematically perfect.
From you I can learn, from today I will follow you ... BRAVO !!!

Thank you for these tips ^-^ j

i love these part

nice post :)

helpful

This write-up is very educative, I get offended when someone tells me I'm not doing anything when I'm working hard to make it happen. I just learnt that accepting criticism is good for growth. Thanks for sharing.

Nice effect this Pareto effect.
Let me add that with 20% of the words, or vocabulary,
about 80% of a language is accessible.
Studying something is never finished though.
When the time is right, it is always nice to dive deeper into it.
Just for the record,
Study 10 words per day & within a year, about 30% of a little dictionary is covered.
The big dictionary of 100,000 or more words, might take a lifetime or more...

Cheers

All of Your point is great . . It will help someone .
