Has it happened to you that when you are meeting a person or even in a job interview they tell you "tell me a little about yourself" and you never know what to answer? Well this publication is totally for you. When they ask us that question, the only thing that comes to mind is our name, age and nationality, this is fine, they are good answers and they say a lot about us, but, When will the day be when that question is not uncomfortable, the day when we can respond with ease, speed and security? today is that day.
Our parents know us more than ourselves, our close friends, our grandparents, our uncles and even a person who has only spoken to us two days, they can tell us with certainty I know you more than yourself.
What made me do this publication was when I made the #introduceyourself it was a bit difficult for me to write about myself. Who really am I? It was my question and I did not know how to respond, I took the time to ask the same question to my friends close to my age and could not give me an immediate response without taking time to think and after they laughed they answered "I do not know what to say" or " I never thought about that before "I know this question sounds a bit existentialist, but hey, nothing better than knowing who we are. Knowing who we are now will open many doors for the future, will help us to know where we are going, complete us as humans and that is what we need to start our lives.
How do I know myself?
1) Ask your parents or close friends, two words that they think will describe you perfectly.
This will help you to get an idea of who you are, of the words they say you will take those with which you feel identified.
2) Check your photo album and see the sports you practiced, the artistic activities you were involved in, etc.
This will help you to know a little more about your passions, likes and hobbies.
3) Look around you.
Check your house, see your walls, see your photos, your clothes, your accessories, that will tell you a little more about the type of person you are.
4) Take some time to meditate.
I know this sounds very silly, but it is not, in meditation try to connect and enjoy a moment alone with yourself.
5) Put yourself in front of a mirror and introduce yourself.
A good hello to break the ice is not bad haha.
6) Feel proud of who you are and what you have achieved.
Behind our name there is a personality, there are hobbies, there are tastes, there are attitudes, dreams and talents, and that differentiates us from others, because we may call ourselves Pedro Pérez and there are millions of Pedro Pérez, but each one is different, with special qualities and with different purposes for their life. Encourage yourself to do this exercise, encourage yourself to meet you, ask that question to others and change their life too, help them to start their life, a new me, help yourself and others to know each other so that others know them.
