Hello! Today I want to share with you my opinion about one of the most talked about topics in Venezuela and that we live here daily, thanks for taking a little of your time to read me, I hope you like it and have a nice day!
How bad does a country have to be for hundreds of families to suffer the departure of loved ones? Should we deserve this? Was it a sin that we are now paying? Well, the truth is that there are many more questions that I ask myself and I don't have an answer to them, even with the insomnia I get every night.
Many of you will know that Venezuela is in a critical situation, that my people die daily from hunger and need, and that we can't go out into the streets here, because the chances of not coming back alive are very high. Because yes, even though I am in an "average" good economic position, this situation affects me a lot, and you can't imagine the homeless people.
But today I do not want to talk about political or economic situations or anything of those things that I hear about every day, everywhere. They already have me dizzy. Although what I want to talk about is a consequence of all these factors ...
Venezuelan diaspora.
Yes ladies and gentlemen, if you are wondering: What is that supposed to be? Well here is a small definition: ''Word from a Greek word that translates into dispersion and is the exodus of the members of a community who must leave their homeland.''
Venezuelans are practically running away because it is that, or die trying to survive here. Every day there are hundreds and hundreds of people who leaves Venezuela. Broken dreams, abandoned loves and the charge of conscience to leave the country that saw them grow is the only thing they left here. It's not simply the action of leaving, because it leads to something much bigger behind. The pain of leaving your family in misery and the fear of simply not measuring up and having to come back with the tables in your head, or of simply being attacked by the xenophobia that has been seen towards us in some countries.
But there is something else. Not everything is darkness, because in fact, it doesn't exist, it's only the absence of light. And like everything, it also has a clear side. To leave for another country doesn't mean only sadness, it also means the hope of having a better life, the opportunity to give a better life to loved ones and the tranquility of feeling free. It means a new beginning, since coming from a country so rich in culture it is inevitable that the thousands of Venezuelans abroad, share our recipes, customs and traditions.
Truly the word diaspora has a bigger meaning for me than a definition of google. It's sadness but also hope, broken dreams but also new opportunities, a broken heart with the dream of returning to have a better Venezuela. It's the pain of some and also the freedom of others ...
And with this I say goodbye for today.
Thanks for reading me. xoxo.
See you soon!
Milanun.

what is going on is tragic and its caused by politics, and greed. You always have options though, the question is just do you wish to make a choice!
