Struggle of an Crypto Advocate

In the Beginning

        I just recently learned of bitcoin and cryptocurrency early May of 2017, did my search online and dig into pages and pages of information everyday to learn what cryptocurrency is and the amount of information is overwhelming! but I never stopped, I was eager to learn more and the only way for me to dig deeper is to be involved in a community with people who has been in the industry since the beginning, luckily I found one in a form of somehow informal education. The web is like a jungle and for me to survive, I needed a tribe that can guide and help me. Teach me how to hunt and protected by the tribe leaders. This tribe was Icoinpro, everything I know now is because of them and I am proud to be a part of that community.

What Intrest Me in Crypto

There are a lot of things and factors that fascinated me with crypto; disappearance of Satoshi Nakamoto and leaving the program for everybody, blockchain technology where every transaction is open to everyone and the peer to peer transaction without the need of authority or other organization like banks. But what made me fall in love with Crypto is the fact that it has the power to compete or even replace the current monetary system we have. Does any body know that the money you have or the digits in your account does not have any value anymore? It is a mere representation of digits accepted by everyone because that is the norm(I owe yous). Do you know that if all people will withraw their money in a certain bank, there will be no enough money to give to all the depositors? Do you know banks can earn profits without using a single penny? Yeah, try making a loan, maybe car or mortgage. All is done online right? Do you see exchange of value? No! What you see is you get the car or the house you want, the banks just send the other party digits of numbers that represent your loans and you now pay them them back with hefty interest. Funny but this is the norm, this is the current banking system. Run by the rich and wealthy to make more people poor by hefty charges and interest without even using a single penny! 

     With crypto, the value will be handed back to the people, no need for banks expensive charges, everybody can verify the transaction.

For Crypto to Thrive, Understanding and Education is Key

     Only a small amount of people is aware and fully understand Cryptocurrency, about less than 1 percent. Imagine if atleast 40 percent uses it? Institution will have to adopt and as well as banks (hopefully in the near future no more banks). 

     But this is the reality, once you open your mouth and try to talk to people about crypto and tell them about it, most of them is skeptical and pretents they understands you, but they really don't care. I guess these are people without political view, maybe they are happy with what they have(I hope), or maybe they just needed to start somewhere. 

     As an advocate, the least we can do is create awareness, put the word out there, let them see what is happening behind their 9-5. Post articles from crypto news sites. Invite them to communities involved in crypto, let them see and hopefully it will open their eyes and see crypto's potential to change society for the better.
