The museum of Zaporozhian Cossacks mentioned in my previous post consists of several buildings.

The military office is one of them. Its interior is recreated as it was in the first half of the 17th century.

In the cabinet of the military clerk, it is possible to see the chest-safe and the cupboard for documents. The red fox-covered armchair testifies high status of the clerk.

under the leadership of senior clerk who sat at a separate table.
