Living in Cancun Mexico is a waking dream a true tropical paradise. Technically we're at the tail end of the rainy season so as of last night it's been continuously raining.
Perfect time to Steem on. So two fairly awesome discoveries have been made in Mexico that might have flown under your radar.
Stone map of the Universe...
The elevation on where the stone map was discovered is what intrigues me for some reason, located between Mexico City and Puebla. Overall a very nice article with great photos.
Second discovery was definitely achieved by true intrepid adventurers! 216 miles underwater cave.
Being a diver myself and knowing the hazards that come with the exploration of underwater tunnels and cenotes this is a truly remarkable find. Diving in the Mexican Caribbean is truly spectacular and knowing that this discovery happened about 2 hours south of where I live just blows my mind.
There is so much to do and see in and around Cancun Mexico. Everyone on Steemit should come for a visit!
