    Hello @monajam !
    For me determination means keeping a straight focus on something. And yes, almost nothing really can take my attention out of it, when I am determined to do something. Great poetry!
    I am now determined to learn some verbs from this poem, which are:
    to circumvent (to bypass) and to hinder (to limit)
