Illiteracy is a disease as well as ignorance. He who remains ignorant remains in foolishness because he does not know what he does not know because he refuses to acknowledge his ignorance. We have three kinds of ignorance:
Environmental or social ignorance (when you are ignorant of your environment or the environment caused you to be ignorant)
Educational ignorance (when you are ignorant of what you supposed to study in school)
Spiritual ignorance (when you are ignorant of spiritual things).
To live an effective life, one mustn't be ignorant of any of these.
PRESCRIPTION AGAINST IGNORANCE
In medicine, prescription means a recommendation for remedy or suggested solution to a particular problem. If you want to be healed of your ignorance you must comply with these prescriptions
Seek to fear God for wisdom and knowledge. Prov. 1:7&9:10
Seek for training or knowledge from a reliable source.
Always open your mind for learning from all things including your people, your environment, your mistakes, and your success.

The wisest person is he who learns from everything. Education in whatever form may cost money even SBD, but its ignorance will cost life.
