while relaxing today at my local college campus’s resting area, i saw these really pretty carpenteria flowers!
when i came to take a closer look at them as well as take a few photos, i saw a small label that said that the flowers were called bush anemone! i thought it was really cute of a name since i never really thought of it as an anemone but looking at it further, i sort of does look like a cluster of sea anemones!
after learning this new information today, i’m honestly kind of excited to see what other cute names for flowers i can find!
