hidden mirabilis shrubs

today, i went exploring around my local college campus today & found something really pretty that i hadn’t noticed earlier —that being a lot of mirabilis shrubs!

well, i think they’re mirabilis since the blooms share a similar shape & color to a mirabilis, but the leaves are significantly much more smaller than your typical mirabilis ^^;

here’s a fun fact as well: another name for the mirabilis is 4 o’clock as these flowers tend to not bloom until much later into the day, usually around 4 o’clock in the US!
