Expert doctors say they believe that there may be more AIDS patients among the Rohingya. Myanmar's position on the risk list of AIDS is very high among the countries. There are more than 250,000 AIDS patients in the country. They said that if the people with AIDS are not immediately identified then this disease can spread in Bangladesh.

Resident physician of Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital Shaheen Abdur Rahman Chowdhury said in the first light that 8 out of every 1000 people in Myanmar are considered HIV positive. According to the number of Rohingyas in Bangladesh, there are at least 4 thousand people who have AIDS. So they are concerned about this. For this reason, two laboratories have been set up in Teknaf and Ukhia to provide medical treatment to people with HIV positive and to identify their disease.

The Rohingya arrival is continuing since August 25. As a government, this number is 5,23,31. All of them are staying in 12 camps of Teknaf, Ukhia and Naikkhanchhari Upazilas of Cox's Bazar. The government has been giving all support to the people as well as providing shelter to them due to humanitarian reasons. Cox's Bazar Civil Surgeon's Office said that till now, they have provided medical treatment to more than 1,688,829 people. They are affected by various diseases. There are also AIDS patients in this list.

It is learned that on September 16, two women who came to Kutupalong Camp in Ukhia were reported to be HIV positive. After that, four more women from the camp are told to be HIV positive. 1 out of 6 people died. The other 5 people are being treated at Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital. The Rohingyas are working to identify HIV-infected patients. Non-government organizations Ashar Loha Society and Cox's Bazar District Sadar Hospital.

Resident physician of Sadar Hospital said that 17 out of 19 people were already taking treatment in Myanmar as AIDS patients. They told the camp doctors to have AIDS. And two people did not know about their disease beforehand. After coming to Bangladesh, their AIDS was diagnosed.

In the last few days, talking to some Rohingya AIDS patients in Ukhia and Teknaf camp, they did not know anything about HIV in the past. In Myanmar, they could not get medical help.

One doctor said that the same need for repeated injections used in injection in Myanmar was used repeatedly and patients told them.

Cox's Bazar Civil Surgeon Abdus Salam said in the first light, they fear that there are more AIDS patients among Rohingya. They need to be quickly identified So they took the initiative to identify these patients. A separate team is working in Ukhia and Teknaf. Professor AQM Sirajul Islam of Chittagong Medical College said that Rohingyas are not exactly health conscious. Increase the health awareness among them first. They have to do it in one place. Otherwise, the spread of infectious diseases will make the situation worse. This situation will create a serious health risk for the people of Cox's Bazar, including Teknaf and Ukhia.
