Toys strewn all over the kitchen and living areas could be hazardous. I have accidentally stepped on small lego bits and each time my foot hurt horribly.
Thank goodness for basements. The kiddo is barred from leaving toys upstairs and most of his cherished stuff is kept in the basement.
His mama got the kiddo a drum set from a garage sale. There was muffled banging coming from the basement for several days until the kiddo completely lost interest.
He is now a little older and is learning to appreciate music and songs. He loves Starry, Starry night and Saturday in the park. He is finally playing elementary music and practising hard for his recital. The drum set has found its way to the thrift store.
