The Human Body is made up of different parts called doshas. Each dosha controls different aspects of the body. If a particular dosha is disrupted, it can lead to health problems like heart disease and skin problems. The vata dosha is also known to be more prone to infections and heart disease. Its role in the body is to regulate metabolism and digestion. Foods high in sour or spicy ingredients can also disturb this dosha.
Organs
The organs of the human body are collections of cells, tissues, and other structures that have specific functions within the body. In the case of the human body, organs are generally composed of multiple layers, and some live within cavities. The human heart, for instance, lives inside the abdomen. The lungs, on the other hand, reside in the pleura.
Tissues
There are four kinds of human body tissues, and each has a unique function. The body's connective tissues are composed of cells that are separated by layers of epithelial tissue, and the rest of the body is composed of muscles and nerves. Muscle tissue allows the body to move, while nerve tissue is responsible for communicating.
Astral body
The astral body is the third member of the human body and relates to the solar plexus chakra, which deals with our emotions and will purpose. We can become more aware of our astral body by developing a taste for it. This action of our 'I' over the astral body is called 'ennobling'.
Cells
Cells are constantly experiencing forces, which are either internal (endogenous) or external (applied). These forces are dynamic in nature and require the cell to constantly reassess its status and adjust its internal and external morphology. The cell responds to these forces through mechanosensors located at the cell periphery. These signals are then transmitted throughout the cell and integrated over time. This helps the cell stiffen cytoskeletal filaments and strengthens the contractile machinery in the entire cell.
Astral plane
The astral body is the spiritual counterpart to the physical body. It is thought to be made up of subtle materials. It is often associated with out-of-body experiences, such as lucid dreaming. Those who engage in certain practices such as meditation or shamanic practices may develop awareness of the astral body. The astral body is thought to be connected to the physical body by a silver cord, which is sometimes referred to as an etheric cord.
Homeostasis
Homeostasis is a balancing act between different physiological processes within an organism. It is essential for the proper functioning of a system, and it is one of the hallmarks of life. There are four interacting components to homeostasis: the stimulus, the receptor, the control center, and the effector. The receptor provides information about the environment, and the control center compares the data to its normal values, and then sends a signal to the effector.
Stress
Studies have demonstrated that chronic stress can affect the functioning of the body, especially the cardiovascular system. Psychosomatic research has emphasized the importance of how the human mind responds to various stressors. Type A stressors, which include impatience, a sense of urgency, and a preoccupation with deadlines, have been linked to coronary artery disease.
Physiological functions
Physiology is the study of the functions of the human body. It focuses on the chemistry and physics of the different parts of the body and how they function together to sustain life. Physiologists use laboratory experiments and observation to gain a better understanding of the human body.
