Late, by myself, in the boat of myself,
no light and no land anywhere,
cloud cover thick. I try to stay,
                                                                                just above the surface,

                                                                               yet I'm already under
                                                                             and living within the ocean.

                                                                                RUMI "Real Oneness"

I visited the abode Of Narayan Maharaj at Kedgaon-Bet, India. He was one of the five Perfect Master of our time. Born in 1885 he became orphan at a young age. He found his home in a Shiva temple in search of himself. After many hardships moving from place to place he arrived in Kedgaon-Bet.

As the story goes, Narayan heard the conversation of a pair of Pingla birds, “This place was sanctified by the brief stay of Lord Ram. This is a Holy Land, where thousands will get food and true satisfaction”.

Narayan made his abode in Kedgaon-Bet, a small township rose up to a four hectares of land with temples dedicated to Lord Dattatreya and Shiva, a Practice place, a rest house for pilgrims and some small cottages build by devotees. Food was served to the poor on a daily basis.

Narayan was known trough India, his message was very simple, “Treat every being as God.”

"He took a long breath and finished his mortal journey" in the Lotus posture in yoga in 1945

This place has a very sweet atmosphere, you can see the remains of a grandiose place where one was coming to be in the presence of the Divine.
