Is Astrology which gives a prediction of life events genuine?
A lot of people do not believe in Astrology and believe that it is one gibberish thing.

What I have to say about Astrology

Astrology has been an old science and Astrology is dependent on Astronomy. Each Planet plays a significant role in the Universe not only controlling the functioning of the Universe but also our physical bodies. For. e,g. the different seasons, the natural occurrences like earthquakes, volcanoes, the day and night phenomena, the high tide low tide occurrences. The movement of planets impact every single thing and being in the universe. The Eclipse or the Retrograde periods, Full Moon, New Moon bring a direct impact to us emotionally, mentally, physically. hence there is no reason to not believe that it can also impact our lives. If we observe our breadth closely we will see how our breadth varies at different times of the day and the Moon cycles.

Our horoscope is the astronomical picture of the position of the planets when we are born, our life blue-print. Astrology the science to study these position interprets the implications of these planetary positions which determines the major life events like Financial status, Health conditions, Relationships, Career and so on for us and can serve as a mirror to us. But what goes wrong then when you cannot relate to your life events when you do an astrology reading with someone. First of all you definitely need to get your Astrology reading done from someone who has good amount of experience in this field. Other thing is each Planet has a positive and negative manifestation, conjunctions, exaltation, debilitation points and it is difficult for anyone to interpret that. If Astrology was a standard study then 2 people born at the exactly same time should have exactly same type of lives, but it is not the case, because the manifestations for each one differ. It is a deep study looking also at the past as to see if the Planet has already given the impact in one's life in a certain area or not. Also there are many shifts that keep happening in the Cosmos, new planets are coming into picture so if all that is not considered then it can not give a right interpretation.

The Zodiac, the planetary position and the house all come together for doing an Astrology study, hence if even one aspect is missed, one cannot get a right interpretation. Our Horoscope is a combination of our Sun Sign, Mercury and Moon Sign. Where Sun represents the Soul, Mercury our Thoughts and Moon our Emotions. Most of the horoscopes consider only Sun and Moon which then does not give a very accurate picture.

My own Experience with Astrology

I always had a lot of fancy towards Astrology and used to visit astrologers to get my birth chart interpretation and I would see that I would get all different versions. Some said I will never grow in my Career, which to an extent went right but then there came a period where I saw very good growth so what was it that they missed, one person said I would never shift to another country and that also happened. So there came a point when I too thought that Astrology is all fake and made up. Then one day I thought let me study Astrology to just understand what it exactly teaches, thankfully I found a very good teacher, who put up the whole study for me in a very simplified manner. I started relating my chart with my past life events and exactly everything fell in place. While studying I understood that more than it being complex it was more scientific and if you get all those guidelines straight it is easy to do the reading. But again it is easy to relate to the past where something has already happened and you can relate, but interpreting the future is difficult, if the planet will bring positive or negative manifestation and up to what degree. It is very difficult to do a 100% accurate astrological reading. The accuracy of the horoscope entirely depends on the power of interpretation and the holistic knowledge of an Astrologer. Most part of our lives are destined but there are many free will events also that can happen and it is difficult for any Astrologer to predict on that.

But my genuine advice is, it is good to allow the life unfold at it's time and not be too inquisitive about what is in store in future. Allow the life to bring it's own magic at it's right time.
