Wow....exactly what I was mulling over earlier today...procrastination. I was going to write a post but put it off. Lol
Seriously, I had a few notes starting with 'procrastination is not your friend'.
Here are a few illeffects I thought of. You have said it more concisely.
Whatever the task is it will be there until you do it.
Whatever the decision. ..the longer you wait some of the choices might be gone. Either
narrows down the outcome or forces you into a decision you don't like or isn't going to give
best results..You always have that niggling feeling you are supposed to be doing something, and you are.
You could end up doing it at an even more inconvenient time.
Procrastinating on finances can be disasterous.
Prolonging sense of accomplishment. THIS is why your post really caught my eye. Found it
very cool we were on the same page.Getting it over with allows for a sense of relief, shows priorities, gets you on with other things.
Start small. Do your least favorite household chore first, do that stupid project at work first
thing Monday morning, pay the bill you dislike most, apologize to someone if needed.- Then...go for the new house, a better job, the vacation.
Practice makes perfect.
The benefits far out weigh the amount of time we waste procrastinating.
Wow that nice
