I bet you all have heard and seen those motivation videos, talks and pictures.
They all say things like :
Don't wait, start living now. Be your own boss. You have everything you need. Just do it and etc.

But there's a one bad thing with them. THEY DO NOT WORK.
Yeah, it works for some of the people, but obviously not for most of them.

You know, I'm actually tired of seeing those guys with high ego and self-esteem who are saying that you are the master of your world, you need to do that, or something else to become successful.

They don't understand one simple thing :
If it works for you it might not work for others. And if you want to motivate people show them the path, but not offer a free ride.

AND MOST IMPORTANT THING :

Thing is, when we achieve everything we want we expect to feel better. But when we actually get everything we ever wanted done we feel the same.
We do not feel better. We feel empty. That's why we don't need to settle. We need to move on.

Tell me your opinion, guys. You're welcome to do that!

Thank you very much.

It all depends on what you are being motivated to do. I start with values. You are not going to pursue anything worth chasing unless it sits with your values because there is no intrinsic motivation. Want to be rich? Will you work your butt off to make money, maybe in a MLM environment? Maybe for as long as it takes to work out that only a few of the people who were either founders or work really hard make it. Need a roof over your head and food and safety for your family? Now you have a reason to get out of bed. Want a flash car? Even if you get it, eventually the novelty will wear off. Need a car because you can't get the job you need without one and you have motivation. I guess it's about the why and the why needs to be something that resonates in your heart. Most motivational speakers that had real success had a good why and it resonated with their values.

So you say that best motivation for each of us lies within ourselves. I guess is what I meant too.

Yes, you need to have a why:)
