Russians and Americans, What's The Difference...

I often read American newspapers and note that sometimes when they write about us they joke on things that is part of our life. So, I decided to consider why and made survey on 10 Americans and 10 Russians

American smile is famous. They smile any moment and every day. Even their pronunciation is also influenced by their smile.

Russians are gloomy, many of us. Just a fact. Russians always can find something bad. Never focus on good things. Youths are different a little bit, but still. Why? Nobody knows. May be because it is in the air. All America is influenced by positive thinking and consciousness.

Eating in and out

Americans do not cook at home. They prefer to eat out. It's simple and it's easy. But Russians can't imagine any celebration without home cooking. Nowadays many prefer to eat out too but major part of Russians cook and eat at home. Grandmother's cakes is an important part of children's memories. And while Americans fight for healthy food, Russians eat it at home.

Everyday life

Daily routine that consists of going to and out of work, shopping, cooking and all small things that make our day is better organized in the USA.

In Russia people go to the shop after work even if they buy major part during weekend. They stayed late at work to do what is left and so on. Of course, in America also there are such people but less.

Adaptation to life

Due to constant crisis and instability in the country Russians are more adopted to life. Any Russian women can make a dinner out of nothing or be beautiful having 2 children and work. Any Russian knows at least two way to survive without electricity and hot water. Russians are handy. In soviet time one Russian men made a car on his own. One of my friends dreamt of Porsche Cayenne. So he collected parts from 3 different cars and had his own Porsche.

That is my little research on Americans and Russians. Of course, it is subjective and personal. But it helps me to communicate with people better knowing these peculiarities.
