Hospitals in Pakistan

Corruption is the main issue of the country. You as a country can't make progress unless you starts treating ALL citizens equally. Unfortunately in here poor/middle class people are looked down upon by rich and value of a poor is next to nothing. Though this hospital is small in our small city but still its government responsibility to provide either government funded hospital or invite investors to help build a hospital and subsidize them somehow. Even if this ward is helping 20 children a day to get healthier which means in a year over 7000 children are getting healthcare to have a better and healthier life.

I worked in hospitals of UK for few months and believe you me healthcare is free even pet hospitals are lot better state than this. I was admitted in one hospital for my Hernia operation. I was not charged a single penny for the whole operation except for the Pain Killers (Paracetamols) which I had to get from Pharmacy, free food is served to patients if they are staying for a night. There is also vegetarian and in some hospitals halal food section as well. Even though in A&E (Accidents and Emergency) units waiting time is over 3 hours but once you are inside a ward, you are looked after properly. Hospitals are kept clean and hand sanitizers are provided to use before entering any ward.

I hope in the future things will get better and us, younger generation, will not make mistakes which our parents made in electing corrupt people to come in power and ruined our childhood.
