Although it is a common thing, but dejavu is a subjective experience, so it is difficult to induce it in a research. Well, here's the reason why we are experiencing de Javu:

Have been in the same place before

Some researchers believe that de Javu triggered when we entered in an environment or similar to places that you evrt visited. For example, when we got to the hotel which had furniture that looked like a living room in the home of our childhood.

Frequently traveling

People who frequently travel and people who can remember their own dreams more likely to experience dejavu than those who stay at home or do not remember their dreams. Their memory and imagination are stronger compared to other people.

There is something wrong in the brain

Epilepsy can be a cause of de Javu. Researchers also believe that de Javu triggered by disturbance type neuron firing in the brain. In addition, it is conceivable that it is the result of the brain trying to process some information, but can not align properly for several reasons.

Great article, upvoted, and following you now!

A couple of years ago I read a paper proposing deja-vu may be caused by a malfunction between the short- and long-term memory areas of the brain. Basically, they flip the order in which they catalog the memory so the long-term remembers it before the short term, so as the short term catches up your brain registers the event already being recorded by the long-term which makes it feel like you've already been there.

Thank you verymuch your comment really adding more value for my article.
