This photograph takes me back. One of our weekend adventures was underway. It was late November 2016.
We were on our way to the city of Pittsburgh. They were having a Christmas festival that we had been interested in. She was interested because it was something new and exciting. I was interested because it was supposed to be set up like a German Christmas festival. They always seemed to bee very fun and I personally attend a few in my travails.
On our trips one thing we like to do is turn off the GPS, hop on the back roads and navigate using a map. We enjoy this very much because it gets you away from the traffic and noise but also gives you the opportunity to learn a new skill like finding your own way. It may take a little long to get to your destination but sometimes the knowledge you gain and the photos you get along the journey are what say the most.
We were travailing on some back roads and seemed to be in Amish country. That happens sometimes when your driving across the state of Pennsylvania. There were no other cars on the road but occasionally you would come rolling up past a buggy pulled by a horse. These people of course have no interest in you, they even look the other way. Enough about them though this is about the sights we come across.
It was early morning the air was cold and the sun was still waking up. We were sipping our coffee and enjoying the sights. The settings around were just beautiful. The way the trees were lined and the grass shined green. This is the beauty we caught that morning.
