A few days ago, PIA co-founder revealed that ProtonVPN is operating by Data Mining Company “Tesonet.” The organization that officially offers ProtonVPN is ProtonVPN AG, which is located in Lithuania, Switzerland. It shares the same office address as Tesonet (J. Jasinskio g. 16C, Vilnius 03163, Lithuania).
Furthermore, the overall service outside Lithuania provided by ProtonVPN is operating under Tesonet, which is outsourced with the assistance of ProtonMail. Not only that, but Tesonet also runs NordVPN, which claims to be located in Panama and not Lithuania.
However, after the revelation of this shocking reality, ProtonMail is trying to prove it otherwise by making counter statements, which aren’t providing anything but frustration. So should you use ProtonVPN or not?

Interesting. I suppose we could never trust any VPN provider, let alone one that's offering servers for free.
