The Shit That's Bugging Me: Episode One

in life •  6 years ago  (edited)

Writing the word 'shit' in the title bugs me.
Now people who don't like that word will assume I'm shitty.
I'm not shitty though.

NoNamesLeftToUse - Drama.jpeg

It bugs me

when people think I'm shitty.

They're shitty, for assuming shit. Shouldn't do that assumption shit. That shit will get you nowhere except far far away from this post, which is fine, because I don't want that type here.

And no.

This is not a shit post.

The real shit post is your shit post about walking through the park with your dog. You took pictures of everything but the shit you had to pick up with a blue plastic bag. You don't need to be keeping secrets from us.

Next time, take a picture of the dog shit and prove to everyone it's not you leaving dog shit all over the parks!

It bugs me

when people leave dog shit laying around.

Do I shit on your carpet?

No, but don't be surprised if you find a big deuce sitting next to the coffee table tomorrow morning. That's karma, or whatever.

If you don't give a shit, you get a shit!

Everyone knows that!

Except for you and your half baked dog who should still be in diapers!

Freewrites like this...

They bug me!

I don't know what the hell I'm going say after this.

Maybe I should get serious because some dude last week told me, "No serious content producer would waste their time here," not once, but three times!

That shit really bugged me...

I felt like responding with about five hundred of the artworks I've produced since I showed up here, and no words. Instead I made a fool of myself trying to explain how there are and were plenty of serious content producers. He was talking to one at the time, and I could have introduced him to many of you, out there.

Dug his hole deeper. Said something in defense and to save face similar to, "No, by serious content producer I meant REAL content producer." "No real content producer would waste their time here."

He thinks there's something wrong with the place because big names don't show up. So I mentioned a big name, and he hadn't even heard of him. A Youtuber who was there from the beginning. A Youtuber who's now worth 1.7 million. Imagine what all of those original Youtubers would be today if those running the place behind the scenes treated everyone like crap, told them they're not serious, told them they're not real, and said they'd prefer to see Snoop Dogg instead.

There would be no Youtube and the billions of dollars it generates today, if those original Youtubers were told to get lost. Treat them poorly; kiss those billions goodbye — that's how this business works.

Once big names see people making a pretty penny here, ORGANICALLY, then they come, for something on the side, because they're already making millions and don't need extra work just to make a few pesos worth of cryptocurrency.

Big names

know the GAME about as good, if not better than I do.

Is the big name going to play the stadium or the little theater down the street nobody heard of?

What's the little theater down the street doing to make money? Waiting for Snoop Dogg to magically show up, or recognizing and booking talent most people haven't heard of... YET.

How well is that small venue going to do in the money department if the manager looks at the talent and says, "Nope. Never heard of you. Not good enough. Not a big name. Go away."

Where did The Beatles play first? Small venues, or stadiums?

#NewSteem

Every fucking content producer who walks in that door now deserves respect. No more of this, "You're a fucking nobody," treatment. No more of this, "The content on STEEM sucks."

I can find a million reasons to not like the stuff I don't like, but it's not hard for me to at least respect the people trying their best.

There's no such thing as an overnight success.

And there's no such thing as success when you're surrounded by a bunch of closed minded jerks who wouldn't know what true talent was even if it came up behind them and shoved their jerk heads a little further up their jerk asses.

It bugs me

when I work in a place where that stuff actually needed to be said.

Peace

It makes me chuckle. I have said it over and over those who can't create good content run down those who can and they do it by lumping all content together and saying it's all crap.

It suits an agenda to allow them to change things or make decisions to better steem in order to attract real content producers. Those gossamer fairy's of hinterland that aren't actually interested in coming here from where they are successful already.

Alter thing I have said which makes me chuckle more is...

Fuck em all.

:0D

We've spoken about this more times than I have fingers in the past 2+ years, nearly three. It takes some of them almost too long to catch up, yet because they can say things like fast blockchain, they seem to think that's enough to sound smart. Most boxers don't care about what's under the ring, all they need is the ring to work as intended, then the crowd forms around the ring, and none of those people watching the match care about what's under the ring. Why is that concept so hard for some here to wrap their head around?

Good thing I'm not a real serious content producer then, I'm not sure how I would feel to discover I wasn't actually here all this time XD

I'm totally not going to post another progblog here tonight or tomorrow either.

Oops! Looks like I dropped quite a few hours worth of nothing too serious on the floor here...
NoNamesLeftToUse - Wrapped Up In Fear.jpeg

Let me just pick that up and carry on like it never happened...

Oops here let me help you with that.

I came across your name in a comment thread about the new upcoming HF and had to come and check out your page.

I think next time I go out on a walk I will try and get some pictures of dog shit to post and write about it and try and find something to write about it.

I am loving this New Steem and I really liked how before you had mentioned that these new changes are an incentive for content consumers. I have been saying that for so long that Steemit needs a way to incentivize those that want to just enjoy content and reward them for being here as well. I am looking forward to the changes, not only as a content creator, but as a curator as well.

Nobody writes about the dog shit. It's not hard in this day and age to add some humor to that and turn it into gold. I'm sure someone out there could make a living being the dog shit police, for entertainment purposes.

I'm looking forward to change as well. I do know it'll be a rocky start. There's no way it'll go smoothly, at first. We can't have lines and signs painted on every road we need to take in life though. Who doesn't enjoy a good detour anyway.

Obviously there's not enough shit in the world. Or some parts of it. Because without shit things wont grow. And there are places where nothing grows. Fertilizers people call it. But it's basically shit. I think we don't have too much shit here. So there's always room for more. And with shit come the shit bugs.

Proof? You want proof? You can't handle the proof! Oh, you can? Okay, I'm here. I'm here because of the shit. And as we know from the mouth of some great poet of our time, people equals shit. So now that I'm here, you have lots and lots of potential to grow this shit to the moon.

I think this shit really is #newsteem thinking.

Dog shit bugs me too. But as you said, people should prove that it's not their shit. Although it is, as it's their dog's shit, then it's their shit and they should handle it. It's not like we're in the wilderness. Or even in some forest where shit bugs come and deal with all the shit. It's in the city streets where bugs are sparse and if people won't deal with their shit, or other people who are hired to clean the city streets, are too busy dealing with aaaaaall the shit, the shit will just be there, making our streets really shitty.

Some shit you got here. I love your shit!

I'm not a #seriouscontentproducer. I produce a lot of shit.

That shit gets on the shoes and then you slip and fall down into more shit. Try ordering a coffee while covered in shit!

I'm glad you like this shit though. That shit's pretty cool of you. Probably one of the shittiest comments ever and that's a compliment!

I'm cool like that.

OH OKAY, OKAY! I confess! You don't have to squeeze me and torture me anymore! I'm just here for the shitcointokenwhatishit.

Well said, it was a shitty job, but someone had to say it. Every big name had to start somewhere, even if it was in a garage making music or really really ugly pottery, (the uglier the better value, I learned that on PBS Antiques Roadshow).

Maybe I should get serious because some dude last week told me, "No serious content producer would waste their time here," not once, but three times!

Yet there he was wasting time on a wasted site and a wasted post, instead of over at weku, whaleshares, tron, eos, or some other place with Serious content to look at.

Yet there he was wasting time on a wasted site and a wasted post...

And witnessing.

Consensus witnessing. That's the worst part.

Why is he up there? What does he do?

Puts on a good show for everybody.

I disagree. His show sucks.

People who create good content spend their time creating it. How do you define good content? That may be difficult, but it may only be content that took some time to produce. Some people will consider it good and others don't based on the relevance to themselves. The only thing consistent is time spent.

There's no such thing as good or bad. One's good is another's bad and another's bad is one's good. That makes everything both good and bad at the same time. Who cares about good and bad. I didn't like a song on the radio. That doesn't mean the entire radio sucks.

Reminds me of what an old music fraternity brother once wrote in my pledge book. "Get your shit together. Keep your shit together. And never loose your shit." Words to live by.

You know what? I like it.

Why do I always end up saying THANK YOU for your posts?

Because you say what I feel so much better than I can.

So, once again my nonmameslefttouse "Thank YOU" for being JUST who you are!

That dog shit though... ;)

well, that is just shitty shit from shitty people that don't give a shit about taking care of any shit that is theirs.

so yeah, The dog shit.........I happen to agree with you there too :D

You have been rewarded with some SHIT! Take a trip to the bathroom to stake and manage your worthless tokens.

Thanks for giving a shit!

welcome :D

Agh that person is talking shit saying that "No serious content producer would waste their time here," I only write serious content for education and they have never shown up, so you carry on with your shit okay? Hahahaha. Just do not worry about what others think.... not worth your time.

Agh that person is talking shit saying that...

No, that dude honestly thinks he's right. Disconnected we call it.

NewSteem respects and wants to retain real content creators. Because we respect your work we will flag trash and ensure our talent is well paid.

We have push newsteem and allow it to sink in for the slow and the disconnected.

The bright kids are going have to wait for the slow kids who like to be unhappy, but we will force the culture on them.

Nice SHIT!

It bugs me when people leave dog shit laying around.

Yeah, I know. It's worse when the dog does in the middle of the sidewalk. I already have to contend with pissed off geese and their shit. Like sure it's annoying when you find dog shit next to your bush every week because half the neighborhood has a dog, but when it's in the middle of the sidewalk. The audacity of some dogs.
