My Writing problems...

So we had to write a speech for English, the point was to integrate some sort of counting in the speech so its no specific topic at all...

This is not based on a true story just what I could imagine at the time XD

And Bam just like that its over… So I remember when I was just a little lad, its not like Ive grown much from there, I used to do things hoping my parents wouldnt find out about it, the only way I could hide it from my parents was to not look suspicious, and clear my tracks, but how do you do that?? As little kids we have this belief called out of sight out of mind, for me it was just lifting the carpet and putting everything under there, I mean if I cant see it… how are they gonna see it…

Now this bad habit I had still happens today and it’s definitely done better while Im at this age, I mean reaching the top if the cupboard is one of the easiest things to do if youve got some… clever… tricks up your sleeve, such as using your sister to grab the cookies from the top shelf while you lift her up.

Yes, my bad habit was secretly eating cookies, as I said, I used to slide the box under the carpet hoping my parents wouldn’t notice, now obviously they noticed but they were good parents and didnt say anything of it, instead they, Umm, crushed them for me, by ACCIDENTALLY, stepping on them.

I remember I used to do it most when we were playing hide and seek, so my parents would count and I would start running to the kitchen, climb the cupboards, grab the cookies and then try hide, my parents would scream “5..4..3..2..1..”, that means Im safe, I could eat my cookies in peace.

At this age it's just saying that you’re gonna walk around the house with the dogs a couple of times, and as you walk out you grab the cookies, and then you’re safe, if you think about it we were all kinda like ninjas, just some of us better than others, now while writing this speech, all I was thinking about was how am I going to get a quote in, then I remembered a quote, not from anyone famous but it still counts,”Tristan… are you gonna share if I get the cookies down??…” and that was from my sister.
