The Sadness to Know. what should I do if I already realized that I'm not Young anymore

I was watching with my kids Pixar's Cars 3 yesterday. I thank Lightning McQueen for this big lesson.I will be 42 years old this year. I realized I'm not a kid!

I was trying to "Race" and "Compete" with all these youngsters that are searching for a career in the information technology field. I was completely wrong!! I can't get a job that a Kid can do for less! I can't try to get in front of a lot of fresh and young professional that are well prepared for entry level positions. I got to know that this race isn't for me anymore.

Its time for me to start sharing my experience with all these new talent in the world for them to start their career with the help of someone that had been in the field and made a lot of mistakes, Corrected and started again and again to keep on track! I need to teach my knowledge for them not to take the same risks without being prepared to mitigate them. I'm not the one to be chasing dreams anymore. I have to help those that are pursuing their dreams and help them achieve their goals.

So sad I made my mind in front of my kids, almost with my eyes full of tears, and completely frustrated by realizing that I was completely wrong. I told my older son that I felt sad to know I could not keep "on the track" as I was doing. I think he didn't understand what I said, but he knew I was sad. He knew something changed. This has been ticking on my head the whole day.

In the last 24 hours I have grown more than the last 15 years. I have seen interesting changes in my point of view. I completely changed the the way I see things now. I have to give a chance for the new talent. I have to teach them to become a better person. I have to be an example for them.
