A Little Note For Those Who Want To Develop Courage

We have all admired the word " Courage" and this is because we recognise It as something that holds the key to everything we want in Life. It has always been said that at the other end of fear is everything we want in Life

When it come to courage people have been led to believe that it Involves making those huge life changing decisions like quitting their jobs to start their dream business, or dropping out of school to work on their art. These decisions no doubt requires courage but they are not the kind I want to talk about today

The most Important form of courage you can develop is found in the little decisions we have a chance to make on a daily basis. It is found in those moments we let slip by everyday, like standing up to someone who made a bad decisions or speaking up when someone in power goes too far

It might also be as simple as apologizing when you made a mistake or hurt someone. Or even making a choice to forgive someone who did not even bother to apologize for hurting you

Courage can also be manifested when you decide to ask for help. There are people who will rather get lost than ask for directions and it is not because they are proud, most times it is because they are shy and Intorverted

It is little decisions like this that serve as a courage builder and they come in handy when the time comes for you to take the major courageous decision. The difference between a coward and a hero is not handling a huge task or crowd. It is the ability to make the small courage building decisions that makes a difference

Just like you can't lift the biggest weights in the gym on your first day. You have to build up your capacity slowly or risk causing huge injury to your body. The muscle of courage have to be built slowly and over time

He who is faithful in Little , will be put in charge over much

So go out there and build courage

I decided last night to finally tackle learning something I’ve been wanting to for a while now. Spent all night till the hours of the morning the sun was rising. Failing repeatedly at understanding and to get something rather simple done. After many hours of getting no one and in fact having setbacks I finally figured it out.

Today I am going spend even more hours trying to get to the next step and see where I can go with it. Far to many people just give up on first sign of struggle. I take it as a sign that it is something I want keep at even more.

Struggle means that things are working. The plane takes off against the wind and not with it @enjar

I really needed to read something like this, I'm a shy person by nature and it has affected me in so many ways, I've missed opportunities because I couldn't express myself. I started making adjustments when I started Rapping, rap gave me the courage I never had and I meditate on this saying daily "Don't let your fears pull you down" and each time I tell myself that, I've automatically summoned courage. Everyone has something to drive them but some haven't discovered it yet. That's my own way of building courage. Thanks for sharing this man, you're always speaking my language!

You just have to work on those things you are afraid of. You will surely come out victorious @kingeazi

Courage is like faith, do what works for you. Others might just need to touch the hem of the garment but you might have not qualified for that kind of faith, just do what works for you.
