We Live in a World Filled with Disappointments.

Disappointments have turned into a usual thing these days and almost everyone has been disappointed in one way or the other.
Disappointments have an edge over circumstances and planned appointments.

A lot of times we get disappointed by those we trust so much, disappointments come from getting heart broken by those we put our heart into.
Just today, I was expecting a credit alert from the bank in order to sort out some things, as a matter of fact I had promised about two to three people to come get the money at a specific time, I waited for a long time but the credit alert did not come forth.
Those I had promised came around and I felt terrible to betray them, I knew they had trusted me with their funds as well and I had disappointed them.

There are disappointments that can be avoided, but what about unforseen circumstances?
My experience today made me feel so bad that if I could see the authorities in charge of the transactions, I would have gone to meet them to work on it immediately, but they were no where to be found and the only thing I could do was to send a mail to them with which I got a reply that I had to wait because other customers were waiting to receive attention.
That is just a disappointment from bank, but what about disappointments from friends, families and even lovers.
A Lady once told me about her previous relationship, she narrated that she was deeply in love with her boyfriend and she had her life planned out with him, everyone that saw them admired them and wished their relationship was like theirs.

One faithful day, she went home and her lover told her he was tired of the relationship, at first she thought she was dreaming, but it was a reality because her lover has been seeing another lady for sometime now and he just broke up with her because his friends advised him that she was a good girl and her boyfriend had to let her know the truth, he was tired of her and that was all he had to say.

At that very instance, she felt her world had crumble and there was nothing she could do about it, her dreams crumbled and her wall failed.
Do you feel we should get used to getting disappointed? and if not what other option do you think is applicable.
Thanks a lot for coming around, I am @tobi. Have an amazing weekend ahead.

Disappointment is caused by expectation. Unfortunately, we always expect things ...

But is it possible for us to never expect things, since it happens to be the reason for disappointments.

Sad to say, but I don’t think that’s possible. I see myself always expecting things and being disappointed, but I try to expect less ... I try.
