Little helping hands

It's been a pretty laid back day so far. Today is a public holiday in Nigeria, the June 12 National Democracy Day. It is also the kids mid-term break and so we were all able to sleep in and have a relaxed, un-rushed family brunch. It felt so good to be free of the usual hustle and bustle that comes with a regular school day/work day. Another plus for me was having the children assist with housework like laying beds, folding clothes, cooking and cleaning. We spent less than 1 hour handling chores that usually cost me 2 hours or more. I feel so blessed by their little helping hands.

Happy democracy day !!!

Its a good thing to have children keep one's company , but if those children are still very young eish you feel like why there is no school today hehehe.. 😀

As in ehn! You got that right...It was not so much fun when they were younger

Oh yes!!!! Many hands make light work! My daughter used to love helping me dust the house hehehe it was so fun to have her help but also a special treat because she enjoyed the work!

Hope you enjoy your holiday !!
